MEET OUR DOCTORS

Dr. John Anderson

Dr. John Anderson has enjoyed serving the residents of the Bozeman area for the last four years. He is able to provide vision care to patients of all ages. He is trained and experienced in the latest technology in diagnosing and managing patients with macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eyes, cataracts, and infections. He also provides pre and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery.

Dr. Anderson attended Idaho State University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. He then went on to attend and graduate with his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry located in San Antonio, Texas. He completed internships at two San Antonio area clinics as well as Brooke Army Medical Clinic at Fort Sam Houston. He also is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Outside of the office, he can be found spending time with his family camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking and just enjoying being with them.

Dr. Sather

Dr. Sather opened his private practice in Bozeman on March 1, 1979. His goal is to provide the most up-to-date eyecare available and to provide his patients with the personalized service and care they deserve.

Dr. Sather received a B.S. from Montana State University in June of 1973. In 1976 he received a B.S. in Physiological Optics from the University of California at Berkeley. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley in June of 1978 and has been in private practice in Bozeman since March 1, 1979. He and his wife Jackie raised two children, Brett and Kelsey who were born in Bozeman and have graduated from Bozeman High School.

Dr. Sather has been active in the Gallatin Empire Lions Club and Boy Scouts in the past. He is still active in some wildlife conservation organizations and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities.
